Seeking a teenage male to be part of an anti-bullying photo

I want to shoot  an anti-bullying photo and am I’m looking for a teenage male to be a part of the photos.  I’m looking for a teenage boy (12ish-16ish, a little extra weight) to help make the photo come to life.

I want to create a really powerful image which will tackle teenage bullying and the damage it can do.  Parental approval is a must and at least one parent must be present at the shoot.  Please email me if interested and I can send over more information.

Stir crazy

As the season winds down (1 more wedding for 2008), I find myself going a little stir crazy with all of the “free time” I have now that I don’t have 6 shoots a week.  One of the downsides of being a creative person is that I only feel productive when I’m creating new work.  I have so many ideas for narrative art pieces, but I just haven’t had any luck finding people in/around Somerset who want to be a part of the images.  So, I sit here editing my last few shoots and keep trying to think of new ideas and projects to occupy my time.  The feeling of discontent I experience during times like this is incredibly frustrating.

Sigh… It’s going to be a long winter.

Anonymous - Maybe you can spend some time volunteering in any local service organization. It would serve a double purpose, take up time during the long winter and possibly find the right people for your art pieces. At least you would be out mingling! If all else fails, take up cooking and try new recipes! It can be quite creative, time consuming, and pleasing to the soul! Just a few thoughts and ideas for your winter ahead.

Lauren’s family photos

In July of 2007, I shot Lauren and Randy’s wedding.  The couple was a blast to work with, so when Lauren called a few weeks ago to let me know that she wanted to have some family & maternity photos shot, I was happy to do so.  We got together last week and do an assortment of shots at Lake Somerset.  The wind was pretty wicked and it was quite cold, but everyone braved the less then ideal conditions and we had a fun shoot.

Jennifer’s Senior Photos

With the school year in full swing and most yearbook deadlines either past or rapidly approaching, most seniors have already had their senior portraits shot, but I’m lucky enough to have a few cool clients to keep me busy as fall marches on.

Yesterday afternoon, I went to Shanksville to shoot Jennifer’s senior photos.  We had a great time and even scaled a step ravine to get to a nearby spillway for some shots.  Before the shoot wrapped up, I also shot a few portraits of her and her boyfriend Nick.  It was a fun shoot and I had a great time working with both of them.
