Saturday afternoon I had a super fun family shoot with Carolyn and Scott McCambridge, their ADORABLE daughter Lucy and Carolyn’s parents. I actually shot Carolyn and Scott’s wedding in June of 2008 and had a wonderful time working with them then. The happy couple lives in Chicago, but when their daughter Lucy was born Carolyn told me that she wanted me to take Lucy’s six month portraits I was completely up for it! We set everything up for the holiday weekend, so after a flight from Chicago to Pittsburgh and the drive from Pittsburgh to Somerset, they were ready to go.
Lucy was such a happy little girl and was positively enthralled with the camera. It was so great seeing everyone again and working with the family! We did so many fun shots and captured lots of great moments. As we wrapped up the shoot, I noticed “Grandpa” talking to Lucy so I grabbed a couple shots and one of them ended up being one of my favs from the shoot!
