After a wedding and a 250+ mile drive for a photo shoot on the two days preceding Labor Day, I was back to senior photos on Monday and I kicked off the day with Kayla Lent, her family and friend.  Leading up to her shoot, Kayla told me that she wanted her photos to have a high fashion feel and sent me some magazine ads to use for ideas.  I loved them and found a cool, new location for some field shots.  She also brought a fantastic princess dress and tiara to wear on the swing.  I also got a bunch of fun photos of Kayla with her sisters, friends and mom.  It was a blast and I can’t wait to work with her again!

My second senior shoot yesterday was with the amazing Elyse Echard.  Prior to the shoot, Elyse told me that she’d been “creeping” on my page all all summer because she was so excited about her senior photos.  I couldn’t wait to work with her too and the shoot was a blast.  Elyse was a lifeguard this summer, so we did had to do some themed shots at the lake.  She’s also tennis player so we stopped by the tennis courts (twice actually, there was a match in progress during our first try) and got some awesome sports shots!  We ended up with a terrific variety of locations and poses.  It was such a fun shoot!

Even though school is back in session, my schedule remains incredibly busy and yesterday I kicked off the morning with Ashley Christ’s senior photo shoot.  Ashley brought some really cool outfits for her shoot and we had a great time shooting her senior portraits, especially once we got to the creek.  Ashley was great to work with, so natural at posing.  It was a great way to start another busy day.

Yesterday I had the chance to work with Somerset Area High School senior Haven Purbaugh and we had so much fun on her shoot. Haven had several location ideas which included her church, a field and a grassy area overlooking part of Somerset and the school. Haven is active in the class plays and musicals so we also got some photos on stage in the high school. It was a blast and I had a great time working with Haven and her mom!

Yesterday I had my first Portage High School senior of the year – Marla Sanders.  Marla, her mom and friend were awesome to work with and so much fun.  Marla had all of her outfits and locations picked out ahead of time, knew what she was going to wear at every location and had a terrific smile.  All of that made for a really great shoot and I had a blast working with everyone!
